Pros: the accommodation is located in a good area and with incredible sea views. convenient location, close to shops and public transport.
Cons: but, unfortunately, there are several points that we would recommend to improve. 1. We asked if it was possible to check in earlier by an hour or two. we were told that we need to pay an additional 10 euros for each hour. but, there was a second point. 2. The host responds very rarely at the booking. we wrote to the WhatsApp account. we did not receive a response immediately. please improve communication with your guests. 3. an hour before check-in, when I had already written wherever possible, I received a reply that we could not check in at 3 p.m. because the cleaner did not show up and the apartment was not cleaned. we had to wait 1.5 hours. and unfortunately, we were not offered a refund of 15 euros for those 1.5 hours of our time. 4. There are few dishes for 3-4 people. Please add plates and pots. There were also no dishwasher tablets and no extra toilet paper.

A conveniently-located, family friendly, spacious apartment close to the sea? You got it!
Pros: We liked the fact that the apartment was so close (about 150m) to the beach; one which featured a playground, a couple of restaurants, tram stops, little kiosks for drinks/ice cream/snack purposes, etc. Also, there are bigger shops close to the apartment, a pharmacy, and even a resident tortoise which pleased my 5-year-old endlessly. The apartment itself has obviously been recently renovated, so things such as the kitchen and its facilities such as the fridge freezer, etc, are all perfect. If you ignore the slightly shoddy workmanship around the doorframes, and the old wardrobe interiors which had a characterful, aged-wood aroma about them, it's all good. The fact that there is one bathroom/toilet (albeit with no bath), and a separate toilet is great from a family perspective. Again, having been recently renovated, it looked and felt super modern.
Cons: Due to its close proximity to the main road (100m), there is some traffic noise, and young drivers in Greece are quite fond of their super-loud exhausts, and some of them even delight in performing the noisiest take offs from the traffic lights close by in the middle of the night. So, if you don't sleep with earplugs, then you should. All will be fine. The A/C unit in the living room didn't work, but that could have been because of dead batteries in the remote control, but if you set the two A/C units in the two bottom bedroom on for a while, it cools the whole apartment a comfortable level. The fact that there's no private parking is a bit inconvenient, but we got lucky while we were there and managed to park right outside the property on the street. If you're unlucky? You may have a one- or two-minute walk to get to your car. No big deal. The orange trees which line the streets provide shade and the occasional orange or six for you to take home and make fresh OJ out of. It took a minute to locate the lock box to get the key, but it's dead opposite the front door of the building on the pillar at about chest height. :-)
