Lovely, lovely, lovely!

Pros: Ideal location. We walked everywhere and only needed a taxi to get to and from the airport. Lined with orange trees and full of bakeries and other shops, the neighborhood is adorable. Highlights: Don't miss out on taking the funicular up to Lycabettus Hill - it's just a 2 minute walk and the views are simply stunning. Our favorite restaurant was Zurbaran and it was a 10 minute walk. Their food and the decor were to die for. We were able to walk to the Acropolis, Plaka, Ermou Street and other city center attractions within 30 minutes. Other neighborhood highlights included The Runner sculpture, the National Gardens and Petraki Monastery.

Cons: It was not a bother for us, but those with mobility issues should know that the apartment is on a hill that requires you to descend and ascend steep streets and stairs no matter where you go.
