Koukaki Apartment with a Sunny Balcony

Pros: Very convenient and relatively quiet with easy access to major sights, amenities etc

A relaxed stay close to attractions and activities that were of interest to me

Pros: The apartment is in walking distance of the acropolis and many tourist destinations. There is supermarkets nearby and great restaurants (our favourite was omsom 150metres away from the apartment). George was amazing and let us checkout super late on our final day as we had a late flight home!!! This was so generous. The apartment has air conditioning and all the amenities you need.

Athens with friends

Pros: Very friendly and flat is in great location. Easy to find and close to shops and restaurants.

Pros: The apartment is in a nice residental area, many delicious options for any meal or drink of the day, where locals go. At the same time it is in the proximity of all tourist attractions - we did not use transport once, a little 15-20 minute walk brings you to all areas. At the same time it is more quiet and less crowded. The apartment was exactly enough for 4 adults, it has a lovely balcony. An added bonus are the food recommendations from the host, do not shy away from trying, they turned out to be our favourite places for the entire trip. There is a local food market on Fridays with fresh fruits and vegetables a few hundred meters away, definitely recommend to go!

Cons: It absolutely did not bother us, but if you are sensitive to street noises, one part (including one bedroom) of the apartment is towards a small street where cars and motorcycles drive. It does not hit any heavy traffic though, but if you're a light sleeper, you might want to consider bringing earplugs.

Pros: The apartment is well maintained, very clean and nicely decorated, with a perfectly equipped kitchen and a spacious balcony. Walking distance from Acropolis, Plaka, metro station. Trolleybus stop, bakery, super-market and variety of restaurants and bars are within 2 minutes walk. The owner is very friendly and helpful.

Cons: We are a family of six, it was not a problem to fit in the apartment, but it would be more confortable for a group of 4 or 5.

Pros: Very clean,close to center and most of the tourist attractions,the host was very kind.

Great value for money - nice place!

Pros: Very nice, cozy apartment, in a nice area. The host was very friendly (greeted us upon arrival, helped us with our suitcases - even brought us some cookies!). The property is very spacious, well lit, and comfortable.

Cons: Though it’s close to the center, there is a bit of a walk to get to the nearest metro station. There are buses near by, but they’re not always reliable/punctual.

Quiet apartment in walking distance from the Acropolis

Pros: This is a very well-situated apartment, walking distance to the major highlights of Athens but in a calm and quiet residential district. The helpful and flexible owner addressed our special requests; he spoke good English. The kitchen is well equipped, and coffee, spices, etc., are provided. The apartment is sunny indeed, with two balconies, the flat is spacious. We were a family of five, the two bedrooms were sufficient for four, but the fifth family member stayed in the living room on a sofa, which was not a problem for two nights, but might be uncomfortable for a longer stay. Useful sightseeing, restaurant, and other practical tips are provided. All in all, this was a great experience for us!

Cons: You should be aware that in most places in Greece, you are not supposed to put toilet paper in the loo but rather collect them in the waste bin. It is not a specific feature of this apartment but a fairly general issue in the country.

Pros: Clean and well appointed, excellently located, friendly and helpful host : )
