The monumental house

Perfect for what I wanted. Homely stay in city centre

Pros: I really loved staying here. It’s an old fashioned duplex apartment right in the heart of the city. I stayed for a week. Huge rooms, high ceilings. The decor is not new at all, so don’t expect that and most or all rooms are not en suite. But I like the old vibe and the price is amazing. Plus two awesome cats

Cons: I liked it all but some might care that the furnishings are not new.

Pros: Great location. Walking distance to all major sightseeing spots.

Perfect stay

Pros: I stayed in the red room, was very cosy and warm. Location was perfect. Check in was smooth. Will definitely stay here again.

Cons: nothing too problematic but the street below is very loud into the evening. didn’t effect us too much though were still able to get to sleep

Great location and gorgeous property in the centre of Athens

Pros: Communication with Alisa was great, she was really quick to reply to any questions. She was really easy going about allowing us to store our bikes in the room and also storing our luggage after we had checked out due to a late night flight. The property is gorgeous. High ceilings, shutters, beautifully quirky/rustic. It’s a shared house and felt very homely. The location is fantastic, a 10 minute walk to the Acropolis and many other sites! We would definitely stay again!

Cons: nothing apart from another guest who left long black hair all over the bathroom floor 🫩 this is of course not the host fault as it’s clearly signed that shared areas should be left clean after use

Pros: The room was super cozy and welcoming. You could tell someone put love and effort into decorating it. And the balcony overlooking the street was very cute!

Cons: The bathroom is shared but we didn’t see anyone else so it really did not make a difference. All in all it felt very homely.

Pros: Its a charming place and iis very close to the tourist sites

Pros: Easy-going, hostel/family-like place right in the middle of things. Lots of eateries in the near vicinity. Would like to come again...
