Delphi Art Hotel by Prima Hotels

Would be my place of choice were I to visit Athens again

Pros: We hadn't opted for breakfast, so I can't comment on that. The location is central, very close to the metro, to markets, to food places in all price ranges, and there is easy access to sights and places worth visiting. (Special mention: the world class Archaeological Museum is just a 15 min walk away). The hotel building is old (in a somewhat charming way) and our room was well maintained - cleaned and facilities renewed everyday. The room was a little cramped, but with large windows and a nice view. (That's the pic attached). Overall, we had a comfortable stay.

Cons: Of the 4 pillows provided, 2 could have been a bit firmer (seniors need some neck-support). The exhaust fan in the toilet was a little grumpy and slow to start. Needs a little tlc.

Great stay!

Pros: The room was detail-oriented with modern tech and all listed items were in the room. Routine cleaning also didn't disappoint. The breakfast was definitely delicious and well-served.

Cons: Unfortunately, on second floor, WiFi was not properly working.

Pros: The hotel staff were great and were always available to answer any questions.

Cons: Unfortunately the hotel is not in a great location. There were protests happening outside the hotel on the square on our first day. Not a safe place to walk around at night.

Cons: The environment is not clean...

Old but beautiful and the house keepers are commendable. Will sure stay here again

Pros: The front desk people were really nice and kind when we told them about our flight shift, they were kind enough to extend our check out time. Breakfast was good. It was worth the money.

Cons: My room was close to the motor way so the sound of cars were a bit disturbing

I am extremely happy with our choice.

Pros: Is it loud and old? YES. Is it the best choice money wise when it comes to budget friendly trips? YES. I loved that our room was cleaned every day. The room was small, but had a lot of storage for luggage. The location is great too, you can get to the subway easily and it's a 25min walk to the Acropoles. Breakfast was good, with a daily english breakfast variety, sweets, fruits and they were very kind to provide us with almond milk for our stay. Staff was very kind.

Cons: It is old and noisy. They are trying to compensate with other facilities that I appreciate for the cost. You cannot deny it. The windows are old. It has its charm, but yes, Athens is extremely noisy. It's not the hotel's fault, but the side streets are full of sketchy people. You can easily find someone sleeping next to the entrance at night. Personally, I would not go out at night even if I was in the center of the city, full of fancy hotels. It does not feel safe.

Good value

Pros: Comfortable, clean enough, spacious and well priced. The wine and water in the room as well as the breakfast were great.

Cons: We walked through some surprisingly awful things to get to the hotel, with suitcases and children in tow. Would have been better arriving by taxi

Happy with my stay and liked it
