Pros: I recently stayed at Hotel Nafsika in Athens and overall had a good experience. The location is very convenient, especially for transportation and visiting the city. Nice budget hotel off the main tourist centre,within walking distance of metros,market areas.

Pros: The hotel price was very reasonable.Twenty minute walk to tourist areas of Athens.Nearby metro is good but crowded whenever we tried it.The hotel is beside Omonia Square,very good budget restaurants.All the streets here are large Boulevard types.Very friendly staff.

Cons: A few homeless people and drug addicts hang around this area but there were plenty of police walking about.We kept to main streets like in any strange city. My home,Dublin,is far worse at night
