Hotel Katerina

Amazing

Pros: The workers were amazing!!!! The rooms were clean and well preserved. The breakfast was more than basic an, I enjoyed it. The only thing is that it’s a little bit far on foot from the centre but it’s right next to the metro station. We enjoyed our stay very much

Pros: Great location for public transport, and a short walk to the city centre. Staff were helpful - had quick and friendly check-in. The room was relatively basic, but clean and comfortable, and very good to have a small balcony and be able to stand outside. Breakfast was decent. The lobby / ground floor area was very nicely presented with vintage and antique items. The photos on booking.com are an accurate reflection - and it looks great at night with the blue neon - you will not miss the location!

Cons: Access to the bath/ shower could have been tricky for anyone with limited mobility, although fine for me.

Pros: Metro 3 minutes walk. All the gentlemen at the reception were very kind and flexible. They were very helpful. Fast check-in. Breakfast was absolutely fine. Fast WiFi. Very clean, daily cleaning and towel change. Special thanks to the lady on the 7th floor, who worked a miracle in the room every day. ❤️Thank you. We also loved the huge balcony, from which the panorama was beautiful. :)) I have already been to Katerina Hotel in 2023 and that is why we went back with a group of friends. But next time we go to Athens, we will definitely enjoy Katerina Hotel. :)

Great base.

Pros: Great base to explore the main sights of Athens. Staff were friendly. Rooms were good. We had the family suite with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Enough space for the 5 of us for a few days. Breakfast options were good. Close to metro station and had a few cafes and restaurants nearby. We were able to park our car in the locked outdoor car park which was great.

Pleasant stay in Athens

Pros: The hotel has a good location, 10 mm on foot from the nearest Underground station or approximately 30 mm from the centre if you don't mind walking. The room was comfortable and had a balcony. The buffet breakfast was very good. If you have a car you can park it just in front of the door of the hotel. The staff at the Reception is very kind and helpful.

Pros: Very classic, old vintage hotel. Very well maintained. Very nice furniture, art work and and antiques in club and restaurant. The street behind the hotel was run down and rough. We were told by our driver and hotel staff. This was NOT a factor as all resturaunts, clubs & stores are around the circle/square by the front entrance of the hotel. Helpful staff.
