Reasonably priced and clean hotel in the heart of Athens

Pros: Comfortable bed, clean rooms with everyday room service, mini-fridge, kettle and air-condition in the room. Perfect localization near the Monastiraki metro station, everything interesting within walking distance. Friendly and helpful staff.

Cons: The neighborhood is rather loud (bars open till late nearby), small bathroom.

Pros: 1. Localisation: It is so closed.to every famous areas. Everywhere is full of restaurants and bars. It is also so close to the shopping center. 2. Clean. We stayed 5 nights there. Everyday our room was very clean and tidy. 3. The stuff serves always with a nice smile. They are also very helpful.

Clean Friendly with Helpful Staff.

Pros: We had our ferry booking changed on us so we needed a place to stay in Athens ahead of our flight home. We wanted somewhere central, within walking distance of Syntagma Square and Monastiraki, which had 24 hour check in, as we were arriving in Piraeus close to midnight, but also had luggage storage as we had a flight out at midnight, 48 hours later. Hotel Carolina fitted the criteria, and we couldn't have asked for a better place to spend 2 days in Athens. Clean, comfortable and extremely friendly helpful staff. Yes it's basic, but that's all we needed, and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Would definitely stay here again if we needed to.

Cons: Quite noisy until the early hours of the morning, but it is Athens after all! Also coffee was disappointing.
