Pros: We stayed at the Hera Apartment and really enjoyed it. The place is nicely furnished, the air conditioning worked well and wasn’t too loud, and we even got a bottle of wine as a welcome gift, which was such a nice touch. The location is perfect – right in the center, so everything is within walking distance. What I especially liked was the great communication. We always got quick replies, and everything went super smoothly. Would definitely recommend!

Pros: The unit was clean and well presented. We specifically chose this apartment because it had laundry facilities. There was a slight issue with an AC unit but Alex promptly took care of it and a technician had the unit up and running within an hour. Centrally located and everything we wanted to see or do was within a 10 minute walk. Taxi drop off and pick up to your door.

Pros: Easy communication with the host, clean and fresh studio. I liked the location. And it was quiet, we could sleep well :)

Great Monastiraki Location

Pros: Great location and the customer service was brilliant, with prompt communication from the owner. We were able to use the luggage storage before and after check-in. All basic amenities were provided and the room came with easy-to-read instructions too.

Cons: I didn't realize that the Hera apartment (the one that we stayed in), didn't have views of the Acropolis. The room only comes with two thin pillows and a thin blanket, so more linen would have been nice, but the apartment does have an air con/heater system (although the air con system did leak when we turned it on). The apartment is a 7 minute walk from the check-in office/luggage store which we also didn't realize, easy enough to get to with Google maps, but it wasn't enjoyable towing all our bags through the busy streets. All of this through no fault of the owner though, as everything is as advertised in the description of the property :)

Pros: Very close to the Metro for arrival and early morning departure for the ferry port. Quiet at night despite busy city.

Loved Athens, great city, will return. What a vibe.
