Harokopio Apartment in Athens

Pros: Close to public transport options, shopping opportunities and cafés in the neighbourhood, Clean, nice, big apartment with comfortable beds and Very kind host who left clear instructions, and as a plus the communication was easy with the host

Great choice for families

Pros: Large apartment, in a safe area with multiple parking options.

Great location in Kalithea with easy parking spots

Pros: Mary is a very nice host and caring. The apartment is located in Kalithea very close to the main road with easy access to groceries and bakeries. 10min walking distance from Tavros metro station can be used to access to the Acropolis area or if you intend to walk it takes around 30min. The best thing was to find easily the parking spots. There is plenty spots right in front of the building and you can see your car from the big balcony of the apartment. It was especially important for us since we travel with a van. The apartment is well equipped and there is almost nothing missing.

Cons: Light refurbishment, the style and the equipments are still a bit old can be renewed for a better comfort.

The best apartment in Athens

Pros: Really nice and modern apartment. It was huge. The owner was super friendly and all was really clear. This Is third apartment in Athens I have rented and by far is the best one.

A cozy and clean apartment

Pros: What I liked the most was that each room had double beds, and instead of a sofa bed in the living room, there was an additional single bed, so our family of five could sleep comfortably. The house was cozily decorated, and the beds and rooms were overall clean and well-prepared. They even left us a bottle of wine as a gift. Although it wasn't expensive, the wine, along with a handwritten note from the host, made us feel warmly welcomed. Also, the host was readily reachable by phone or WhatsApp.

Cons: The washing machine didn’t work, and if we wanted hot water at night, we had to wait 30 minutes. When we checked in, the safe box wouldn’t open, which was a hassle. You’re supposed to align the code and push the button down to open it, but it also required pulling the lid while holding the button down, which was tricky at first. To be honest, with the regular price over 200 euros per night, I think that’s a bit much. While the room was nice and clean, considering the bathroom and other factors, I don’t believe it’s worth over 200 euros per night.

Pros: Plenty of room for 5 guests. The entire flat was very clean, with a lovely communal area, equipped kitchen and balcony to enjoy in the evenings. Comfortable beds and located in a quiet area so our sleep was not disturbed. Accropolis is a 30 minute walk away. The host was very welcoming, providing clear instructions in obtaining the keys and provided lots of brilliant information around the flat about your stay in athens. Couldn't have been happier!

Pros: Very individual bit vintage style of the place. Nice differentiation from typical 'booking' place. For us, as foreigners, it was a chance to look inside normal Athens life as flat and neibourghood are not so touristic. To my surprise no problem with finding parking place. We'd great time there.

A perfect place to stay with friends for a short break in Athens.

Pros: The location of the flat was perfect - quite, (overlooking a park), close to a main tram/bus route and walking distance from the Acropolis. The next-door restaurant was open all hours and had very friendly staff. The welcome bottle of wine at the flat was a nice touch.

Cons: An electric kettle would have been nice (we are big tea drinkers).

Superb apartment for a family stay in Athens

Pros: A good place as a base for seeing Athens - there is good space, a long balcony, everything is working and the owner clearly does her best for making it a great stay. My family really liked the place.

Cons: There is nothing I seriously didn't like but don't rate 10 (exceptional) if I don't find it exceptional (sort of mind-blowing) - I think the rating 9 (superb) is the right one.
